It is possible that the confrontation with Islamofascism will have the salutary effect of finally unmasking both the "feminists" (anti-American female leftists) and the political left (anti-civilization, America-hating sociopaths). They got away with supporting communism and other dictatorships, and even made common cause with the genocidal Kymer Rouge in Cambodia...but it's difficult to see how they will be able to maintain any kind of legitimacy as they march shoulder-to-shoulder with the barbaric, misogynistic, primitive, bloodthirsty, vicious adherents of radical Islam.

I think the real explanation is cowardice. Insult a Christian, and he'll complain and criticize. Feminists don't worry about insulting Christianity, although they style themselves are heroines for doing so. Insult Islam, and a Muslim might kill you. And kill you horribly. So feminists don't insult Islam.

And another explanation might be incipient masochism that is the dark side of femininity, the way violence is the dark side of masculinity. All that bondage (the hijab) and domination (the harem) carries an erotic charge. Sometimes it's hard to listen to a Western guy joke about how good a Muslim man has it...

They conveniently forget the rape rooms, don't they. They forget the actual MOS in the Iraqi "services" of "violator of women's honor". A professional rapist. All under "secular" (who wasn't all that secular when it suited him) Saddam. Not that the concept of a Shariah-governed Iraq or Afghanistan should be at all allowed by us, but please. It's never been about the fate of women in those countries with those people. It's about their hate of the highest civilization seen on this planet to date - the West.
