Pitched Battle going on now - Hizbellah is standing to fight

The correspondant on Fox is reporting on an important battle going on in Lebanon. He said Hizbellah seems to be deciding to make a stand near a small town and a "pitched, important battle" is going on right now. They are showing pictures of the war overhead.

What's sickening to me is that these people will use their children as cannon fodder instead of protecting them from the horrors of war. Absolutely disgusting... I suppose I would arm my children in an emergency, but not train them as infantry and lead them to slaughter!!!

I would point out for the record, if Israel were to conduct a full invasion of Southern Lebanon, it will be their third try since 1978 to rid their northern border of terrorists. The first two invasions were aimed at stopping the PLO from establishing the same kind of force as Hezbollah now occupies in Southern Lebanon. Of course the PLO wound up in the territories now controlled by Hamas.

No matter what Israel does it is likely that Hezbollah will rearm as soon as the shooting stops and Israel pulls back to their northern border.

The most important asset the Hezbollah have is their fighters. The proper tactic for them would be to pull their forces back before the exits close. A pitched battle would indicate to me that they may have miscalculated and allowed the IDF to close the exits. Too bad for them.
