One of my colleagues son was on the 87th floor of the first tower hit.

He was on the phone to an offfice in London at the time of impact.

Later in the day, London notified the family about the call.

He was talking to them, they heard a scream and then the phone went dead.

They still have not found/identified any remains for them to bury.

We lived in NJ at the time and there were so many stories of families that lost loved ones. I didn't know what had happened to my daughter for several hours and it was horrible. I remember how tragic it was to see the parents and friends searching hospitals and asking everyone if they had seen the person that was missing. We need to be reminded how truly terrible that day was and how tragic for the families. So many have forgotten.
