This is the most amazing video I have seen and I am now po'ed to no end. Brings home why we are in the middle east right now.

It's a phone call of Kevin Cosgrove to a 9/11 operator while in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center. The call is set to video and is chilling.

What you say is most likely correct. He could see the blinding and choking smoke and feel the heat. And no rescuers in sight. He probably knew from the conversation with the operator that it wasn't going to happen. Calm and collected might not have been accurate, but I'll bet that most peoples language would be much stronger in that situation.

This just makes my heart feel like it will break. My daughter was in the first tower to be hit. She was on the 38th floor. As she was in the stairwell coming down the steps, the firemen were going up. This memory still haunts her. I am so blessed that she made it out.

Thank God she made it out ok. God rest the souls of those firemen who died trying to save all those people.

The way I see it. He was in a smoke filled room 105 stories up. There's no way to know if fire is suddenly going to burst into the room and there is no way out. He's scared. I give him a pass on sniping at the 911 lady. I would too. Probably worse, I can curse like a sailor.

I had to get up and walk around for a bit after listening to that. It brings it all back to the surface. Everything I felt that day. The disbelief, anger, worry.

I for one have never forgotten who did this too us. I wish the rest of America had more depth of memory.

One of my colleagues son was on the 87th floor of the first tower hit.

He was on the phone to an offfice in London at the time of impact.

Later in the day, London notified the family about the call.

He was talking to them, they heard a scream and then the phone went dead.

They still have not found/identified any remains for them to bury.
