Bump. Like most of the Third World, most adherents to Islam probably live in total conformity, fearful, but just trying to live their lives. Let's raise the level of debate beyond religious xenophobia. Kick the crap out of terrorists, and, hopefully, many hearts and minds (and, perhaps, even spirituality) will change.

I don't take to the streets when some nutcase bombs an abortion clinic. I simply resign myself to "what a butthole" and go on with my life. Not what people want to hear when angered (look at my visceral responses way upthread), but conservatives should pride themselves on logic, not emotions.

Interesting, those on FR don't advocate killing terrorists? I find that hard to believe.

You use the language of a troll...we who are experienced here have discovered you, newbie....

I call it "fit of pique", as we're all pissed off right now.

Call off the kitties, for now - that's my vote.

This is what this idiot said. Read between the lines and get a clue.

That looks like a wonderful addition to any proud terrorist's shopping cart, and I hope that you'll do very well with the marketing of it and will sell a ton of them :-)

Jury is still out - checked the posting history. Terse and concise, but not quite Troll Material, unless it's a sleeper.

Not my decision, in any case.

I love Montana. I miss the smell of the ocean sometimes though, but this is my home now. We'd never been to Montana until one May, we drove up, bought a house, and moved. The seasons are intense! Not as cold as Korea.

I spent 12 years in the Army and I believe Americans should be able to defend themselves and their homes. Buy a handgun, become proficient and get a concealed carry permit if possible. Then put it out of your mind. In my experience trouble usually comes as a surprise, so there's no use being paranoid, just prepared. There's definitely more people here that would defend themselves and there homes with firearms than anywhere else in the world that I've seen.

Thank you for serving our country   :-)

Montana does sound like a wonderful place, despite the winters.....I think that I might actually enjoy "real" seasons for a change.  Here in the Pacific Northwest everything is terribly temperate, except for the Leftists, unfortunately.  It would be well worth it, I think, to be able to live in an area where you won't get your tires slashed if you put a Republican bumper sticker on your car and where people don't think it's cool to wear Che Guevara t-shirts to the supermarket.  I'm willing to put up with a few negatives in order to be able to be around decent, sane people for a change.

Thanks very much for your post; it's sincerely appreciated   :-)

REALLY? Have you discovered me? No idiot. You don't know anything about me but you have classified me as a troll. Very good for you. I'm glad to hear you experienced people have discovered me. What profound idiocy. And to think I actually agreed with people here. I will be happy to end my account here.

You're post #1118 doesn't strike me at all as being from a troll, it seems entirely rational.

Please don't go.

I stand by my take on his statement. It's the way he said it that's telling.

You're welcome. I would do it again. We have had many Muslims move into this Jewish neighborhood in the last few years, and many of them seem to do nothing but use the pay phones, or hang out on the sidewalk. We also had a ring of Iraqis coming here from across the country (pre 9/11) seeking fake Haz Mat licenses, AND a radical Muslim magazine which advocated using planes as weapons (again pre 9/11). They are everywhere, just don't know which ones are just talkers, and which ones are doers.

Yet we keep bringing in more and more people from hostile countries. And if they are illegal aliens, we provide them with special perks.

Remember the old UPI teletype machines?

Indeed I do. Ours (right next to the AP ones) were behind a plexi-glass wall that muted the sound of their keys to a degree. The newer ones (sprocket feed paper!) sounded like little pigs snuffling out the news.

Look. I have no use for Islam or its prophet and I have nothing good to say about either. If that offends you then please work very hard to make Islam less offensive to those of us it refers to as "dogs" and swine."

No doubt the media will focus on the fact that this nut used a gun and go on their predictable tirade about the guns being the problem. All the while, they will conveniently ignore the fact that this guy was a professed hater of Jews and on medication to boot.

Hanford is such a large facility (federally administered, for what that's worth), a low-level disgruntled fanatic isn't likely to be able to carry out a catastrophe...

Like building a crescent-topped mosque?
