I was hoping that I could meet with any Freepers to show support for our troops and President Bush August 6, 2006 between 2-9 at Ashley Pond. I want to go but am chicken to go alone.

Do you live in Los Alamos? I just retired from the Los Alamos Fire Department a few months ago.
The wife and I then moved back to Oklahoma, and I sure miss the New Mexico weather. I'm looking for any excuse to go back!!!
I lived in the Jemez Springs area during most of my career. Sure was fun crossing the mountains to get to work some winters. Anyway, welcome to FR...

As most of you Freepers know Los Alamos is the place where "The Bomb" was designed and built. We get protester from all over the world on Aug 6 every year. I will go and walk around until I find someone. I can talk politics and have strong opinions but am a slow starter. I do best when someone is really stupid like Cindy but I would hate to let everyone down by getting so ticked I can't articulate my deep disdain for her and her views.
