Good statement brigada. And, I agree with you.
Some of the attitudes displayed here and elsewhere seem to deny that any apology was offered, much less the admitted state of mind -- impaired by alcohol -- that Gibson had that night/morning. He admitted his wrongs and is suffering the consequences. Also apparent is that many people evidently don't believe in "forgiveness" that Christ Himself demanded of his followers. We should recognize that a lot of his more "public critics" hated The Passion movie and attacked Gibson for that which was offered. Is it any wonder that many of those same folks were the ones who jumped on this bandwagon to attack him? Gibson deserves our prayerful support at this point.
Thank you very much for your support. I am not saying what Mr. Gibson did that night was not wrong, but as you said so eloquently, he has apologized twice, and he immediatley sought ought help. Those of us who claim to be Christians, should follow Jesus's lead, and pray for Mr. Gibson's recovery.
God bless you vox_freedom.
Good grief, what nonsense! The man made a movie that you like so you think he walks on water and you idealize him?
