I live in the DFW area. We took in a family from Metarie for about a month. Our church collected funds every Wednesday and Sunday, and then put together the most superficial response I have ever seen.

I'm sorry to hear that.

In your previous post you said "I managed to end up in Texas where a found a church that was very accepting and graceful."

Then in this post you said that your church was the opposite -- "superficial" -- and that you took in a family. Sorry but I'm confused by your posts. Are you from the Katrina area or are you a native of Texas?
