Nicely sums up the current problems with political correctness. There is no will to defend the culture, no will to defend the productive citizen, but authorities have to look busy so they spend their time enforcing laws and doctrines against the people least likely to cause them trouble. I'm not sure when the voters gave said authorities the option to cherry-pick the easy assignments - probably when we started re-electing them solely for sounding like they care about certain issues rather than riding them out of town on a rail for dereliction of duty. Clinton was the big, fat canary in the coal mine - a society willing to look the other way in his case just because the alternative required some critical thinking and passing of judgment is hardly a society prepared to stave off an agressive enemy like radical Islam.

Even good people can let their society fall into ruin, if they don't comprehend the importance of their own roles in defending it.

Why be so gentle?

In my opinion, the gay and lesbian lifestyle is vile and sick. It needs to be kept to itself and not foisted into the public's face as anything acceptable, wholesome or good.
