Such a graying of the bondaries of good morals. OK then, lte's say, hypothetically, Mr Singer had a home invasion, was injured with numerous baseball bat strikes to his legs and back, rendering unable to function normally in society.
Since there is no sharp distinction between a foetus and a newborn, we could go ahead and follow that logic. No sharp distinction between a newborn and a toddler; a toddler and a child; a child and a adolescent, on up to the decaying matter that Singer is.
And so since Singer is decaying amtter and disabled to boot, perhaps he should be put out of his misery. Now. Today. It is, after all, for his own good.

Revolting. If anything, it should be reason enough to put people off abortion, especially late term abortion.
Funny, isn't it, how this rarely ever applies to the people who think this way. It's always alright for other people. You're right, Hitler would be proud, it's his eugenic dream in action, if Singer would ever get his way.

I would like to submit this for the consideration of those who don't believe the education establishment needs a good flush.

Asked about the choice between killing 10 cows or a human, Singer said he would kill the cows, but not because they were of less value, but because humans would mourn the death more. "I've written that it is much worse to kill a being who is aware of having a past and a future, and who plans for the future. Normal humans have such plans, but I don't think cows do. And normal humans have family and friends who will grieve their death in ways more vivid and longer-lasting than the way cows may care about other cows. (Although a cow certainly misses her calf for a long time, if the calf is taken from her. That's why there is a major ethical problem with dairy products.) If I really had to make such a decision, I'd kill the cows."My FEELINGS, My FEELINGS! I don't care about reason, reality, logic, and human nature.

If one could obtain a supply of several thousand death's-head insignias, it would be nice to arrange activists from around the country to mail him one each, from all over the country, over the course of years.
Perhaps a conscience gurgles underneath all that evil . . . somewhere.

He doesn't have a conscience. Just an empty, black void where one should be.

Wow, talk about situational ethics. So who's to decide what's best for the baby and family? Obviously it isn't going to be the family. It'll be the self-appointed elite who think they know better than everyone else what is best for them, all for their own good, of course.
Hello! I don't want YOU deciding what's best for ME.

Well, professor, if you would kill a disabled infant, that would put you in the 'animal' category, in my book.
Guess what would happen to an animal that killed a baby. Just guess.
God help us all.

He says he will when everyone else starts to do it...so much hypocrisy so little time.
Hey, Mr. Singer, how about leading by example? If you don't, why should we?
A perfect example of the self-appointed elite who make up rules for everyone else to live by, all for their own good of course, but don't apply them to themselves. They're just for the great unwashed masses they want to control.

Amazing that his own parents perished at the hands of the Nazis.
Just boggles my mind.

I'm a vegetarian and any similarity ends there.
I will admit that they day I read his obituary will be a happy day for me.

The fact that this guy is teaching at an Ivy League school too is frightening. What kind of people are being molded by this sick man?

Oh those insightful "Progressives"... wanting to "progress" our society back to the times of the Spartans.
Yes let's bathe the children in wine and leave the weak ones on the mountainside.
And spend our afternoons buggering 7-year-old boys. They seem to love everything about Spartan society...except the fighting thing...
