"It's time we recognized the nature of the conflict. It's total war and we are all involved. Nobody on our side is exempted because of age, gender, or handicap. The Islamofacists have stolen childhood from the world." [FReeper Retief]
Oh yea, we won this one.
Tomorrow the ACLU will file a F****** lawsuit.
And some moronic lib judges will rule in favor.
Yep.
We win.
Debbie is all over this kind of thing. Glad to see the authorities picked up on it.
Many thanks for the ping.
I have come to the conclusion (code for read my tagline), the Dems attempts to drive Bush from office and short circuit the war are attempts to protect some one(s) in the Democrat Party. Bottom line. The party is corrupt and many of its elected officials evil to the bone. They are afraid of the secrets that are locked up in those still to be translated documents and equally afraid of information will come out in a truly free Iraq.
Yeah, a tinfoil hat rant for sure. But I have been following politics for a long time and have never seen this level vitriol, intellectual dishonesty, deceit from the Democrat Party. All for power? That is the short, easy answer. The Dems are in a race against time and their existence as a party depends on them winning the race.
Take this clown for instance.
From Wikipedia.
Visit to Iraq in 2002
Rep. McDermott visited Iraq in 2002, prior to the 2003 Invasion of Iraq. He received sharp criticism from conservatives, both for his visit and for his prediction that President George W. Bush would "mislead the American public" to justify military action. During the run up to the Iraq war, McDermott insisted that no WMDs would be found in Iraq.
After his visit to Iraq, Rep. McDermott received a $5,000 contribution to an unrelated legal defense fund from Shakir al Khafaji, an Iraqi-American businessman with alleged ties to the Oil for Food scandal. McDermott returned the contribution in 2004 after it was questioned in the media. Aides asserted that McDermott had no prior knowledge of Khafaji's alleged connections to Iraqi oil money. McDermott's opponents frequently use the nickname "Baghdad Jim" to call attention to his controversial Iraq visit.
Yes--and also a free Iran.
John Kerry vs. the War on Terror: Candidate Kerry's Subversive Campaign
Kerry's proposal for resolving the Iran crisis is similar to his proposal for Iraq. Kerry has criticized the Bush administration for unilaterally imposing sanctions on Iran and has argued that the US should follow Europe's lead by providing Iran with nuclear fuel in exchange for a promise that Iran will only use its nuclear program for peaceful purposes: I first want to say something about those sanctions on Iran. Only the United States put the sanctions on alone, and that's exactly what I'm talking about. In order for the sanctions to be effective, we should have been working with the British, French and Germans and other countries. And that's the difference between the president and me. . .With respect to Iran, the British, French, and Germans were the ones who initiated an effort without the United States, regrettably, to begin to try to move to curb the nuclear possibilities in Iran. I believe we could have done better. I think the United States should have offered the opportunity to provide the nuclear fuel, test them, see whether or not they were actually looking for it for peaceful purposes."34 In proposing this Kerry echoes the goals of the Iranian government as represented by one of his campaign's major financial contributors, Iranian-American businessman Hassan Nemazee, who has lobbied for normalization of US relations with Iran and has raised over half a million dollars for Kerry's campaign.35 Iran's strategic plan--shared with Al Qaeda--is to use nuclear and terrorist threats to drive US influence from the Middle East and Muslim-populated areas of the former Soviet Union, particularly from the oil-rich, strategically-vital regions of the Persian Gulf and the Caucasus.36
Kudos to Debbie Schlussel and the FBI (better late than never)!! Perhaps there is a ray of hope dawning!
If only they would follow through with Bonior and McDermott's heads served up on a platter of Treason charges... (aw shucks, I can dream can't I?)...
Too little. Hopefully not too late.
