I heard an interview with Willam Cohen, who Clinton referred to in this interview...when he talked to Bill O'Reilly on BOR's radio show..

This was several weeks ago...and Cohen said that day that Clinton was too obsessed with SADDAM HUSSEIN in the late 90's to pay attention to Bin Ladin!!!

Did or is, anyone taping this interview?

The transcript doesn't reflect something.

At this point (early in the interview)

WALLACE: So what is it that you can do as a former president?

CLINTON: So what you can do as a former president is — you don't have the wide range of power, so you have to concentrate on fewer things. But you are less at the mercy of unfolding events.

So if I say, look, we're going to work on the economic empowerment of poor people, on fighting AIDS and other diseases, on trying to bridge the religious and political differences between people, and on trying to, you know, avoid the worst calamities of climate change and help to revitalize the economy in the process, I can actually do that.

I mean, because tomorrow when I get up, if there's a bad headline in the paper, it's President Bush's responsibility, not mine. That's the joy of being a former president. And it is true that if you live long enough and you really have great discipline in the way you do this, like this CGI, you might be able to affect as many lives, or more, for the good as you did as president.

The bolded portion, instead of 'responsibility', Clinton started to say 'fault'. My son and I both heard 'fau' before he corrected himself.

Yes, questions about the GORLICK WALL & Sandy Berger

A British Muslim trained to be a 9-11 hijacker told an FBI counterterrorism taskforce in 2000 of a plot by terrorists to fly passengers planes into buildings, but the agents did not believe him.

Did a little google search and didn't see any Republicans claiming Bill Clinton was obsessed with Bin Laden. Did however find a 60 Minutes interview where Clinton himself was "obsessed" with Bin laden.

President Clinton says he was "obsessed" with bin Laden during his time in office and denies he refused opportunities to capture the al Qaeda leader.
