Newt also pointed out that Clinton got carried away more than he had intended, which I also think is right.
I never could watch him on TV and now never listen on the radio either. His unflagging support of Rather and out of hand dismissal of the SBV story is still outrageous.
I think he was, simply, shocked. And I don't blame him. Nobody expects a former President to go ballistic on them.

Carville and Begala started off by exchanging quips back and forth in an attempt to bypass BOR. Bill didn't let that continue and did a good job shutting down the domination attempt. Calling them "stupid" was great.
Probably because his Republican wife was responsible for running THE worst presidential campaign in modern history, and thereby got Slick elected....
That sounds pretty dire for poor Mary. LOL!
It was an ok exchange, imho. Fun but Oreilly got a lot of things wrong. Number one, he should have mentioned CNN's complete left leanaings, and didn't, he blew that opportunity to say FNC only appears conservative because it is the ONLY channel where you can get a conservative perspective. Then he mentioned a bunch of folks by name, and said: "SHEP IS RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE, YOU CAN'T TELL IF HE IS LEFT OR RIGHT"! LOL TOo funny, Shep is such a lib weenie and that Bill can't see it is too funny.
I thought they made utter fools out of themselves and Bill sort of stayed out of the way. I bet their wives were cringing.
Yes...I've had that reaction many times myself. I usually think of QVC, and how much money I can spend. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't and I must spend more and more, and more and.......! LOL!
