That's not going to help much, it seems to me. If his name is still on the ballot, it will be poison. And that is, apparently, what will happen, according to the law.

Not only has Foley shamed himself, he's pretty much assured that the seat goes to a Democrat. Not good.

Then we'll have to see to it that they use a Butterfly Ballot. That way, we can confuse them into voting for Foley anyway!

Though this does NOT sound good.......I still think people should wait to hear the facts before judging someone.

Well, I kind of doubt it. Would you have any problem voting "for" Foley? The issue is whether or not there is some popular state senator or supervisor or mayor around.
