Marines with the Helicopter Support Team pile into the secondary CH-53E Super Stallion after successfully completing the recovery of an immobilized UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq, Sept. 27. The Blackhawk was disabled earlier in the week upon landing during a routine training mission. It was successfully recovered by Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward). Navy Seaman Samuel L. Blanco, a 25-year-old hospital corpsman, and Master Sgt. Donald M. Iskerka, a 38-year-old operations chief, pause during a patrol through a neighborhood east of Husayba, Iraq Sept. 23. Both Marines and other Marines with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment went house-to-house to meet local Iraqis and deter insurgent activity.
