I haven't been able to eat or sleep for the last couple of days.

But that is nothing compared to what CT is going through.

I feel like I'm torn apart, my son and daughter in law need me to babysit my precious granddaughter (they are both working, as well as taking college classes), and they live 50 miles from me, tomorrow evening, yet I want to be here for CT when he gets home.

My son said he understands, and they can try to make other arrangements, but I feel like I am letting them down. My daughter normally watches Ava Malia in the evenings, but she has parent-teacher conferences the next couple of days.

Free Republic has been my lifeline these last few days, and I see they are on their pledge drive. If all of you can even send $1, it will mean alot to me, and to CT.

Excuse me if I seem to be rambling, I'm so very tired. And again, thank you for all your kind words.

If your kids are 50 miles away, I would think they have some backup somewhere in case of emergencies like this. I can't believe they could be over dependent on you.

If you want to be with Common Tator when he comes home and you feel you should, then do so.

Your kids are grown and can (I would think) find some friends or neighbor ladies that would help for a short time.

Lisa....I am sure when your son said he could find someone, he meant it....no reason for you to feel guilty.

What if YOU were ill?? He wouldn't expect you to travel..and wouldn't want you to give it to the baby.

I am sure they know how much this means to you, to be there for CT...and this can be their "donation" to the cause.

You are under a lot of stress...and you feel like the world is on your shoulders...but, your granddaughter will be okay with someone else right now.

Prayers for you and CT....and give him our love...and please don't hesitate to post again...rambling is good when you are stressed....you need to get it out.

First of all...GET SOME SLEEP! You'll be able to think better as well as cope with the stress. Things may not seem as insurmountable after a good night's sleep. Take care of yourself or you're going to end up in worse shape than CT.
