>>>So your solution is to kill that last remaining employer? LMFAO. >>>
Nope, my solution is to penalize Walmart if the majority of it's employees are on the Medicaid that my taxes pay. Walmart can make record profits, but I have to pay for it's employees medicine? I don't think so.
How bout this? Let's just kill medicaid. How anyone would think that the proper role of gov't is to provide healthcare I will never know.
Who do you think pays for (the state's share) of Medicaid?
Can you say sales taxes? How much sales taxes that Wal-Mart pays goes into Medicaid?
So Wal-Mart employees shouldn't be allowed to benefit from Medicaid, even though their FICA taxes and sales taxes generated by Wal-Mart is propping up the system?
"Nope, my solution is to penalize Walmart if the majority of it's employees are on the Medicaid that my taxes pay."
Ah, the fascist solution to problems created by socialism. Why not work to reduce the cost of medicare, by reducing the entitlement, therefore reducing the tax burden on you, me and Wal-Mart?
The majority are not, union guy. Your baseless, factless, unattributed lies don't fly here.
As a matter of fact, Wal-Mart employees, like employees of almost all companies, do not start receiving medical benefits until their probationary period is up. Those are the employees receiving Medicaid, and since Wal-Mart is the largest employer in many states, they also have the most employees collecting Medicaid during their probationary period.
Facts and the truth are such inconvenient things, aren't they?
Oh good grief. Don't blame Wal-mart blame the fact that there even is medicaid.
