I went to the link and sure enough they where, so I sent them.....

That's the reverse of the point, so the exercise was not childish but illustrative. The MSM are handling the two incidents in diametrically opposite ways.

It did not take long to find Richard and Shari Foos tied to that location. They are big time democrat donors to the tune of some $700,000. Nope, not me. I used to write for magazines, but there's not a lot of controversy in giving folks information about how to use their computers or build a bookshelf.

Do you find it surprising that a news organization would ask for more information when someone shows up claiming to have information about the sexual misconduct of an elected official. Of course they'll ask for more.

Should they have known he was referencing Monica? Not really. Affairs between interns and elected officials are not all that uncommon, so it could have been any of several elected officials, and sex is pretty much sex.

As for exposing the media, well, isn't it already pretty exposed already? Even if it were not, a prank like this is just that, and useless as a tool to expose the media. Nobody but Freepers are going to be interested in this prank.

So, yes, it's a useless prank. Amusing, but useless.

Why would you assume this is an auto-reply? I can't see an executive producer putting their cell-phone number as an auto-reply for exactly this reason - that people will prank the forms and such.
