All four candidates, one GOP, one Dem and two Indys will be holding the only debate for Texas Governor tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central time.

Gee, I wonder whose influence had this debate scheduled during Friday night football?

After the debate tonight, tell us if you sincerely feel that Kinky Friedman is a joke.

Why wasn't the Libertarian candidate invited-anyone know?

Do you really have to ask? Besides, Kinky wants to legalize pot.

The key here is that "many" of our founding fathers were of a libertarian persuasion but not all. For the fact that I thank God that not all of our founding fathers were of the same political persuasion DEEPLY separates me from the Libertarians and liberals who are openly offended when one expresses publically a faith in God. Liberals and liberterians may not be synonymous politically based on what they say in their platforms but they share more than a dime's worth of similarities when it comes to their candidates. So-called "conservative" Democrats will argue until they're blue in the face about freedom from government oppression. The main difference in libertarians and liberals is that liberals no longer have to hide the evils they support.

I just heard Perry talking about property tax cuts.

Have any of you gotten your property tax bills yet??

I haven't...but I will soon, and it has gone up exponentially every year.

I have a feeling this year will be no exception..

KINKY will not win...he is a funny and entertaining...and holds the other's feet to the fire.

But we Texans aren't like Minnesotans....we aren't going to make a joke out of the Governorship..not at a time like this.

Chrissy Bell is saying businesses need to be paying their "fair share" of taxes.

I want to see Texas POLITICIANS paying their fair share of taxes (and not illegally taking "agriculture deductions" on land they have not done anything with in 35 years.

Kinky wants to legalize pot.

Decriminalizing is different than legalizing.

Did you know? Do you read?

Apparently "issues" don't matter to Perry. Quick, tell me 6 things he has done in 6 years that supported Conservative causes.

BTW, we've had both Houses of Congress for 12 years and the White House for 6 years; and I believe abortion is still around.
