Stay off the toll road You obviously haven't seen a map of all the roads they plan on tolling. My current commute route will be 90% tolled within the next couple years.
So this is a "good deal" how again?

Its a real good deal for me. I won't have to pay an increase in gas tax so your ride will be free. You see, I'll probably never use that road. Neither will people in the panhandle or El Paso.

Can anyone link me to a reputable source that states that existing roads are being converted to toll roads? My understanding was that either the tollroads in Texas are new construction from the ground-up, or additional toll-lanes constructed alongside existing lanes.
In other words, no net loss of "free" lanes. Am I missing something?
