America's most fiery conservative talk show host backing liberal Jerry Brown for California's attorney general?

Yes, it's true.

Michael Savage, the nation's third most listened-to radio host (and 4th most influential host according to NewsMax's Top 25 List), confirmed that he recently donated $5,600 -- the maxium allowable -- to Brown's campaign.

Brown won the Democratic Party nod and is facing Republican State Sen. Chuck Poochigian of Fresno, Calif.

"What can I say?," Savage told the San Francisco Chronicle. "I think he'd make a great attorney general compared to the other guy. By the way, who is the other guy?"

Republican Poochigian is currently a State Senator and former assemblyman who has served 12 years in Sacramento.

"You have to make choices in an imperfect world," Savage said. "And this, this Machugian guy (sic). I never heard of him. I don't even know who he is."

"Why bet on a horse that isn't going to win? Why throw your money into the garbage?"

Savage said he respects Brown's decision to start the Oakland military academy and his experience as a politician, regardless of his very liberal past.

Brown, who had the nickname "Governor Moonbeam," served as California's governor for two terms beginning in 1974. A former Democratic presidential candidate, he ran for mayor of Oakland, Calif. in 1998 and won.

"People change. He changed. He has experience," Savage told the Chronicle. . . . "He's moved to the center, which is what this socialist state needs."

As for the conservative Poochigian's campaign, they are not so angry with the Savage defection, bragging that their candidate has the backing of Bo Derek.

Well, [Jerry Brown] got married, finally. To a female, even. Which is at least a step in the right direction.

Arianna?

He's got the same synidicator as Ingraham, Russ Humphries, Jerry Doyle and Tammy Bruce.

Laura Ingraham: inside-the-Beltway elitist, started trashing the GOP.

Russ Humphries: Savage wanna-be, trashes the GOP.

Jerry Doyle: Michael Savage on Thorazine and Prozac (still just as bugf*** crazy as Savage, he just doesn't foam at the mouth on the air)

Tammy Bruce: about the only one who can disagree with the GOP without pulling the "I'm taking my ball and going home" silliness of Savage, Ingraham, Humphries, and Doyle.

Truthfully, it should be "WIENER AKBAR!"

But that's just too silly. LOL

He:

Wants escalation and DEFEAT of the Islamofs worldwide, particularly Iran's Nutjob;
Is pro-life;
Reminds us daily that Pelosi wants to turn the nation into San Franpsycho, if elected;
Hates liberals in general;
Is passionately pro-military;
Is man enough to admit he owns a poodle;
Knows his history and demonstrates how it relates to contemporary times;
Wants the border completely sealed;
Holds the family unit as the highest human construct;

There's no baby in the above for you? At all? I don't worship the man, I just appreciate him for the things he's right about.

I can already tell who's been predesignated to get the blame if the Republicans should happen to lose one or both houses of Congress in a couple of weeks.

When "conservative talk radio hosts" actively participate in the MSM vote-suppression effort, yes, they're going to eat a portion of the blame. Their conduct would best be described as treasonous.

Yep, principle #1 of any good political party: always know who to blame ahead of time!

None of that matter if he is undermining the President and the GOP. By doing that he ensures that NONE of the things he claims to support will ever be enacted or accomplished.

Only those who know little history would believe that he has a grasp of it. Weiner is completely untrustworthy.

However, if I lived in SF I probably would go crazy too.

Well, since you're aiding and abetting America's enemies, you're on the list too.

Wow.

Will you say the same when someone else is President? That 'none of that matters'?

Thanks for the review. I'm sick of the internationalist GOP. I'll start listening to these hosts - as well as Savage.

Seriously...thanks...I'm NOT kidding.

You want to listen to nihilists who desire a Democrat-controlled Congress and Presidency solely to bolster their own ratings, fine.

The last time "conservatives" decided to "send the GOP a message," we got Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton begat 9/11. 3,000 dead Americans--because "conservatives" decided to throw a tantrum. If you were part of the Perot/no-show vote in 1992, I hope you're proud of that accomplishment. If the Dems win in '06 and '08, I hope you'll be just as proud of the next round of mass murder you help inflict on your fellow citizens.

I guess Savage thinks that he would rather have what he considers to be a moderate who can win, than a conservative that he thinks can't win.

Right down ole Karl Roves agenda. Supporting Sphentor, Chaffee etc & outing Kathern Harris, Santorum, Tancredo & many many more. (Savage is the enemy because he didn't have a posted FAKE (R) behind his name. Get a grip here. If the (R)s acted like (R)s then this wouldn't be an issue & Savage would be in your court.

I distinguish between rhetoric and action. If the action undermines the rhetoric the latter is meaningless.
