"Why bet on a horse that isn't going to win? Why throw your money into the garbage?" Why give the maximum contribution to someone you're sure is going to win anyway?
This is bizarre.

This guy is no conservative. He has demonstrated that over and over and equally often that he is just a lunatic aired to discredit and undermine conservatives.

So...Savage is just an act, a parody of the ultra conservative. I guess I'm not too surprised. Supporting Brown for anything automatically disqualifies you to be a conservative and Weiner's explanation for doing so is pathetically weak...unless you're not a conservative.

Savage has said that he's an independent, not a strict Republican. So, I'm not surprised.

>>>As for the conservative Poochigian's campaign, they are not so angry with the Savage defection, bragging that their candidate has the backing of Bo Derek.>>>
Well, since Bo Derek is voting for him!!!

Yeah, one of JB's priorities as AG is going to be GLOBAL WARMING.
That's just the issue I want the state's primary law enforcement representative to pursue.
After all, there is no actual CRIME in California, is there?

I guess Savage thinks that he would rather have what he considers to be a moderate who can win, than a conservative that he thinks can't win.

supposedly he was a conservative. You'd think that, as an alledged conservative, that he would at least have the sense to NOT give the maximum contribution to a guy who is as liberal as Rudy Giuliani if not moreso.

In all these threads, there seems to be a major disconnect on this issue.
To vote for Brown as the best of two choices says one thing. To donate the maximum allowable by law to elect a man is another.
I have been suspicious for a long time, but those who can not clearly see what is/has happened here at this point are fools.
To: kellynla
"You have to make choices in an imperfect world," Savage said. "And this, this Machugian guy (sic). I never heard of him. I don't even know who he is."Why donate anything at all? And why support a known radical leftist over an unknown?
Savage is a fraud, a rank opportunist, and most likely a leftist plant, set up to make us look bad. Oh, I forgot to mention he's also a total ^sshole.

I guess Savage thinks that he would rather have what he considers to be a moderate who can win, than a conservative that he thinks can't win. That doesn't make any sense at all. Why give money to a guy you're sure is going to win anyway? Isn't that a total waste?
