Olbermann cohosting MSNBC's Election Night Coverage??? (BARF!)

Posted on 11/06/2006 12:01:55 PM PST by yankeedoodledandy

So I just read that Olbermann has been selected as the Golden Child to co-host MSNBC's election night coverage with Chris Matthews.

Is anyone else not completely outraged by this????

He's the single most biased personality on cable news. In fact, one of his latest diatribes tore apart our President and the Republican party in general.

Is he going to act like this on Tuesday night?? There will be no straight reporting...only his skewed vision of how things are going.

SO frustated...

It'll be fun to watch him finish going off the deep end :)

I wasn't planning on watching MSNBC if I could help it. I prefer Fox. And now that they are having Keith "DU" Olbermann on I won't watch it at all.

You might get to see a real entertaining live breakdown if the Dem predictions don't hold up.

He's the single most biased personality on cable news.

If Olbermann is number one then Matthews has to be a close second.

Their ratings will be in the tank but on the other hand, if the Republicans do well, it will be fun to watch him squirm.

actually, I predicted this last night + that CNN will have to let them borrow Lou Dobbs since they need to show "Broken Government" three times tonight.

Take comfort, no one watches either of them. It will be more than interesting to see their ratings for election nite.

Why is this channel still on the air?

Without the Microsoft subsidy, how can it continue to function? If I worked for GE, I'd be furious that my division's profits were going to prop up this embarassingly losing venture.

If the GOP loses, watching this guy gloat will be horrible. Then again, if the GOP pulls and upset and wins, watching this guy explode into pieces could be fun for all. Then again, again, nobody watches him anyway, so who will give a damn.

I probably wouldn't watch MSNBC for their election night coverage. Now I definitely won't watch!

Olbermann and Matthews?

You can't get more biased than that!

Yuck.

What job? Abrams is there to let the thing have a soft landing. I don't know what the terms of the "partnership" still are (MS is still contributing to the website) but this channel cannot be long for this world.

Seriously...Abrams is a freaking IDIOT!

All Olbermann does is advocate voting Democrat, and they expect him to give an unbiased breakdown of the election results???

He'll probably start whining and crying on Chris' shoulder while calling for a recount.

I'm so furious...

Oh man...this ought to be hilarious!! Olberman is going to have a certifiable meltdown as it becomes clearer and clearer that the GOP has managed net gains in both Houses!!! I'm watching.

I'd love to see him melt down. I think the polls are so screwed up the repubs will even pick up a few seats in the house ... definitely will be fun
