I saw Schumer on with Sissy Chrissy last night...and he didn't smile ONCE the whole interview.

BUT, I think he is "acting" like they are losing...to try to get people to panic vote.

..I have heard all kinds of praise for what Lieberman did...but, it actually makes me sick....

:)) Oh... once the elections are over we all have a lot of talking to do. I also have "issues" but I will wait :)

I totally agree with you...I know Peach has some ideas..and it is time that we realize that our "power" is getting greater, and by 2008 will be greater still.

That means we need to figure out the best way to "use" it.

He will caucus with the Dems because he is essentially a Dem. He has supported the president on the war, but other than that, he's very, very liberal. I appreciate his war stand, but he really doesn't belong in the Republican party.

Just voted in Western Michigan. Big Republican district. Per polling person very high turnout. Spoke to the person doing the exit polls( CNN AP CBS ALL OTHER) and asked how it was going( nice person) He said it sucked. He had to get 30 responses on how they voted per the turnout and he had 60 people who would not talk to him. He had the list of rejections and showed it to me. Not sure what that means other then do not trust the exit polls. He said this was very high.

" I live in the ONLY red county in the state!"

That serves to prove his point.

You can always vote Democrat when you are dead.

I just voted. I think Senator Snowe will get about 70% of the vote. Anyway if turn out is high, I like your predictions. And I hope as the returns roll in, people don't get too stressed out. I suspect the rural votes will come in later, giving a false impression of what is really going on. I'm setting my alarm to go off at 1am tomorrow, hopefully it will be a great wendsday morning.

Dems may try this technique in future elections -- run a Dem and run an Independent (Dem in disguise) -- and hope either get elected.

CT this year is an extreme case. The GOP put up a candidate that had no chance at all to win the election, probably so they could just get him out of the way for future races. They figured they were going to be running against Lieberman as a democrat, and thus had no chance. They had no way of knowing that Ned Lament would come along and primary Lieberman; otherwise they would have put up a much better candidate.

It's doubtful that this series of events would be easily duplicated in future elections in other places.

Well, first off, I am now convinced that these jerks of the MSM, are definetaly agains us, the Republicans. I also learned this time around that homosexuals have done a fantastic job advancing their agenda... again protected by the MSM who gives them cover.

Also we should also star helping and promoting the NEW MEDIA by visiting and buying their producs and avoid as much as possible the OLD MEDIA (See Picture)...

quick tip: if you see something in CNN, try finding it in Fox or Townhall.com or hotair.com or one of "ours" :) - THEN LINK IT - so that they get the "hits" rather than CNN or WP.

Well we have done our job!

I don't think it does; if ALL of Ct were RINOS we wouldn't have any red counties, would we?

Lieberman is one of the only Dems who I would trust to b our President.

I would never vote for him because I disagree with his social policies, but if he were elected, I would at least feel secure that he was working hard to protect and defend our nation. There aren't many Ds out there who I could say that about.

Very true - hopefully they're going to re-invest some time to run Schlesinger against Dodd - he's smart, he's optimistic, and he wiped both of them on the floor at the debates. If we could finally unseat Dodd it would be a great day in CT.

You rule! Voter 1! I tried to be early but for some reason my line to verify register always fills up fast. I was number 7 in waiting for the polls to open line half an hour early to poll open but my line took longer to move thur the registry signing so I ended up #14

I lived in FL until Nov 2004. My whole family, registered Republicans, received calls pretty much every other day going in to the election to get out and vote. GOP get-out-the-vote programs in FL are better than the Dem's. At least in '04, the Dems were still suffering from the substantial disorganization and chaos in the FL Dem party.

Good list and predictions. I would however disagree on the Michigan US Senate race, and heres why.

The polls have tightened and only show Stabacow ahead by about 4.
The Republican candidates wound up being listed at the top in every race on the ballot. ( good for 1%)
Rove's weather machine is working perfectly according to plan. Code name "OWR" (operation wet rat) and a cold steady rain is falling in southern Mich. ( good for 1-2%)

In my very Republican district I noticed that those in line were 10-1 Men over women ( that sounds funny but normal...lol). That hurts Grandstand and Stabacow, helps Bouchard.

I think Bouchard will pull an upset.
