I'm not even from VA and the immigration is obviously causing a change. Like it is going to all across this country as planned.

The only thing the Dems could secure in Iraq is the genocide of sunnis.

That would be an immoral consequence of their victory tonight but it would not mitigate our soldiers noble sacrfice of liberating 80 percent of the country.

I feared what you said in 2004-- but we have been too successful thus far for the country to return to Baathist control.

Does that mean you'd vote for the (D) over the Rino?

Heaven help our troops if the dems cut off their funding, and heaven help the Iraqi's and the rest of the middle east if we desert Iraq.

Well said, dear friend, and heaven help those who don't know their history and how the Rats have done this to us before.

"What's going on with this?????? On CNN site they have Ehrlich and Steele significantly ahead but have already called the races for O'Malley and Cardin."

Dems always hold back their metro returns-some out of necessity because there are so many votes to be tabulated and often that is not at precinct level but at a central headquarters. Of course that allows shenanigans galore.

Their site's always sucked.

The broadcast is pretty bad tonight. At least they have Barone, but what can Barone do with bad information?

Peach, the real conservatives are the ones who told you this day was coming. The pretend conservatives were the ones who scoffed.

Our values outstrip the democrats by a huge margin, when implemented. Now what?

It looks like they're going to get their wish, doesn't it?

Wonder how they're gonna like that new immigration policy the Democrats are proposing?

If the RATS take power tonight, I blame it entirely on the MSM and their atrocious coverage of the GOP and President Bush.

I hardly ever pay any attention to the MSM, but if we lose either or both houses tonight, it won't be the media's fault, at least not primarily. I would blame two groups: (1) indifferent Republicans who didn't think it worth voting, or who voted for a Democrat, and (2) elected Republicans who were often divided against the President, and who gave little reason for their voters to get out to vote for them.

I know that much of the Republican's achievements were ignorned by the media, but the Rebublicans at least have some responsibility for getting their message out. The did precious little of that, and allowed the Democrats to run over them.

Then they become a campaign issue all over again. Remember how history has worked over the last 10-15 years . . . nothing will motivate suburban voters to support the GOP more than a major hit in their wallet from Uncle Sam.

I can't understand why every house race didn't include a question about that. If Candidate X wins, will he vote for a San Francisco liberal for Speaker of the House? Are those your values?

Exactly, I get so tired of hearing that a Democrat is actually pretty conservative. If he will caucus with the Democrats and vote for Pelosi for speaker then the guy might as well Ted Kennedy.

This is what is bothering me about this reporting.

It is pundits acting as if they knew it all along. It may change, it may not.

CNN is a complete joke
PMSDNC is plain irrelevant tonight.

What about the asentee votes?
