Dick Morris has been predicting to NewsMax readers that the GOP would hold the Senate and lose the House.

Based on latest results and exit polls, Morris tells NewsMax:

The Republicans will lose the House with a 5 to 10 seat Democratic majority.

The Republicans keep the Senate with at least 50 votes

Allen wins in Virginia.

Too early to tell on Missouri.

Stay tuned.....

Looks like our election here in Va will probably go to a recount.

I want to throw a question out to the FreeRepublic expanse of knowledge. It's pretty important, considering Virginia could go to recount and could decide the balance of the Senate.

When I went to vote, I showed by I.D. and they, of course, called out my name. Standing directly behind the precinct worker was another lady. She was checking some list, and asked me if I was "Allen or John." These are my brothers, and I know they are some Democrat list cause a Kerry volunteer came to my house and asked if they voted two years ago. I assumed this lady was checking absintee ballots, but that wasn't the case.

When my mom went, she had the same experience with this lady. Only the lady specifically asked "You're not a Democrat," aftering checking the list. I'm 95 percent sure that this lady was a Democrat volunteer, and was checking off who had voted.

My question is this: Is it legal? Can a Democratic volunteer be in the voting area? And specifically, can they say out loud "You're not a Democrat?" I wasn't intimidated, but it certainly wasn't proper.

If someone can answer this question, my next question is this: What do I do? Who do I contact? Where do I go from here.

There are some Dem-heavy precincts outstanding, so stay tuned.

I think Morris HAS jinxed Allen. There are still 60 precincts out, the margin is only 10,000 and most of the outstanding precincts appear to be in Richmond, which is a Webb stronghold.

The House impeaches.

The Senate does the trial and convicts, or not convicts.

The Impeachment aspect of the process is run in the House. They don't need the Senate's ok in any respect.

They can impeach Bush, but that does not mean he has to step down, Clinton was impeached too, but he did not step down. Just evil Dem payback to avenge Bubba

Senate will have nothing to do with convicting Bush, but I think the dems are nuts enough to go for impeachment.

If Bush is convicted - not likely - Cheney would be pres. The dems just want to shame Bush, payback for the Clinton impeachment.

That may be true. But I predict Pelosi will have a short shelf-life as speaker.

"Tonights results are nobodys fault but the republicans. (as much as I hate to say it):

Baloney!

This has been a victory hatched by the "self-fulfilling prophecies" from the leftist MSM.

Example: I clearly remember the MSM (including CNN) tossing around the word, "quagmire" re Iraq before the dust had settled behind our tanks.

They kept up their steady drumbeat of reporting the negative and ignoring the positive until many Americans (you, apparently, included) finally guzzled their Kool-aid.

Heck, anyone could have won with that massive flood of un-paid advertisement and editorial time!

Better study your civics lessons....

The House impeaches, the Senate trys.

That's exactly what I said in a later post. The House needs no OK from the Senate to impeach the president. After the House impeaches, the senate trys.

The president won't be removed, but a dem house can successfully impeach the president.

I don't see how Allen wins, period, given the precincts that are still out.

They'll attempt to impeach both and install Pelosi as POTUS. Wouldn't be the first time they tried a coup.

That's true, but the GOP has done nothing in their own defense to refute the lies and allegations. In that sense, it is their own fault.
