I have some libertarian leanings too and think many of the party's positions are well inside the conservative movement. Please think twice about slandering libertarians--I'll take them over RINOs anytime.
Amen, brother!
{Though I will confess to occasionally poking a libertarian in the eye on this forum.}
Me too. The trouble is, elected Rinos are plentiful. Other than Ron Paul, libertarians can't get elected dog catcher, so what good are they except to help get demorats elected?
agreed, and if we ever mount a campaign consisting of conservative libertarianism, I'll be first in line
NY's gubernatorial candidate was a fruitcake
Good time to chase the libertarians away from the Republican party, eh? Since there are just oh so many Republican voters coming out of the woodwork right now.
(Speaking as an unenrolled, pretty libertarian, voter who votes Republican practically all of the time. But if my vote isn't wanted, that's ok I suppose.)
100% in agreement!!!
redrock
Too many who denigrate others who have "libertarian leanings" couldn't find their own arses with both hands...and couldn't find water if they jumped ship.
When RR spoke of government being the problem, he was aware that having government impose morality was a danger, as well. The tendency to use government to enforce its will for issues one agrees with is a losing proposition. It's not about proper use of government; it's about insidious government control.
