In the U.S. Senate race in Virginia, more than 50,000 self-identified Muslim voters went to the polls, MAS said. A commanding majority of them, 92 percent, or 47,092, voted for the Democratic challenger, James H. Webb Jr. Mr. Webb won his race against Sen. George Allen, the Republican incumbent, by 9,326 votes. "If Muslims had decided to put their weight behind Allen, Republicans would have had at least a tie in the Senate," said Mukit Hossain of MAS, which conducted the survey. Muslim turnout of registered voters was exceptionally high in Virginia, at 86 percent, MAS reported. About 13 percent, or 7,822, of them were first-time voters.

Well, what do you expect. They certainly won't chop off the head of those that will chop off their heads.
Yesterday we were told to blame women for the Webb victory. So which is it?
Would have been smart for the Republicans to pass legislation turning off the spigot of immigration from muslim countries while they still held the Congress.
For as long as the War on Terror lasts (many years) the muslims will overwhelmingly vote for the Rats.
How Would Mohammed Vote?
I'd be ashamed to have won with the defeat of the country as an objective of my voters.
I notice that they somehow let women out of the house for this (voting). At least until such time as this foolishness can be abolished and the Caliphate established. Go Democrats!
They are not off the hook.
So sad, so bad!
You're not correct in supposing that the two propositions are logically exclusive.
If women had voted the same as the men, Allen would have won.
If muslims had not voted for Webb, Allen would have won.
Both statements are true.
"I'd be ashamed to have won with the defeat of the country as an objective of my voters."
That's what distinguishes you from Democrats.
Blame the media. The one misstep played into the

If more people had voted for Allen, Allen would have won.
HMMM.Kinda like the North Vietnames voting for LBJ.
It's too bad that newspapers like that one only appear in cartoons.
Do you really think they are going to be happy with that vote a couple of years from now? Voting in a former Secretary of the Navy under Reagan? Who served honorably in Vietnam? Who's first speech highlighted the birthday of the Marine Corps?
I would have voted for Allen, but if there's one Democrat out there we should keep an open mind about, it's Webb. I think he will be far more problematic for them than he is for us.
If more people had voted for Allen, Allen would have won.
__________
So that's how those election thingies work.
