Im a minister an I have worked with drug addicts, alcoholics and welfare type people for 25 years, almost everything the goverment does is a complete waste of time and money, chiefly because they do not know what is really happening in the slums, barrios and housing complexes.

What the West and Islam share are elites detached from their own demographic realities

Perhaps GWB has had more than his share of problems, but do some reading on what happened during the most recent two Democrat administrations, then consider the prospects of having another one. Its pure Mark Steyn; his funniest line is throwing his TV set through the window and accidentally killing two elderly spinsters out for their morning walk. OK, its not so funny when its not a TV show you're fed up with. The Muslim yutes of the real world want to blow themselves up and incinerate the infidels along with them. As it stands, the reasonable people of both East and West are already the people of yesteryear. That means you and me. The kids of the future presage the arrival of a much more dangerous and re-primitivized world. What's happening in Iraq and in the banlieues of France is a glimpse of the reality of tomorrow. Something to think about when like Mark Steyn, you are all tempted to throw your TV sets out the windows down upon the heads of elderly spinsters going out for their morning walk. Only what's happening isn't a joke to blow off steam; what's taking place in the world right now is a world in which a lot of people are dying every day. I recently had an argument on the radio with a demonrat state representative.

Seems to me that two of the main logical fallacies they use to give themselves legitimacy are, "I have a right to my own opinions" and "I could say the same thing about you."

I think these are chinks in their armor that need to be attacked.

Exactly! The majority of Palestinians are not soft spoken moderates. They're extremist fanatics who make Saeb Erekat and Hanan Ashrawi look moderate. Unfortunately for Rice, Erekat, Ashrawi and Abbas are NOT the ones calling the shots in Gaza. The kids are and they have fun blowing themselves up along with the Jews. Peace and co-existence is not in the cards in much of the world in our lifetime and the lifetime of our descendants.

Well...you have to wonder sometimes. If Arafat, for example, started his terrorist career back in the 70s by hijacking airplanes, and went on to be responsible for the deaths of hundreds or thousands of innocents, and yet was allowed to die a natural death 30-some years later...I sometimes lose my temper and say "What the F**K are they thinking?!" Are these gubmint types in charge any smarter than the average working stiff? What the hell is wrong with them? What kind of games are we playing?
