I'm in a tent NEAR a park. Beautiful place right near a checkpoint, with grass and trees and birds. Yesterday I sat and watched a sprinkler toiling away and feeding the grass. Relaxing, until the boom! rat-tat-tat-tat! starts again.
Nice enough place though.

No swimming yet. It clouded up and cooled off yesterday as soon as I left here to go find it, and today it is sprinkling.
I feel bad! I was supposed to meet Allegra at the swords but the Baghdad cops turned me around (not enough firepower or body protection they said. Hrummmppphhh!) so I ended up standing her up.
Before I leave I want to get a pic of us together under the swords for the "1st Annual IZ Support the Troops" rally or somethin'. LOL

Yeah I can wear my body armor if it comes down to it. I'm pretty sure the uniform was what messed me up. Next time I'll sneak around in civvies.
