Up-And-Coming Rapper Dies In Shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police have identified the victim of a shooting at a Colorado Springs motel as a rapper who performed under the name "Dat Boy O" or D-B-O.
Thirty-year-old Iliff Omar Burleson died of a gunshot wound Friday night.
The Colorado Springs Independent had recently described him as an up-and-coming talent.
One of his songs, "Don't Blow Me Up," had been getting play on the local hip-hop station.
No arrests have been made.

There was a band in the DFW area, John Nitizinger who played a song "Rap Is Crap".

Colorado Springs is not normally a city people associate with libs. Denver or Boulder would have been more fitting as the scene of the crime.
