give it up, thats the 5% that don't drink

Not so--I'm part of that "5%" (which I'm sure is really higher), and I follow 'ol Fr. McCarthy's advice, "Everything in moderation" (except sin--which alcohol in itself is not!)

My husband and I managed to make it through our 4-yr dating/engagement w/o fornicating (what a way to find out how much someone loves you) and celebrated our 18th anniversary a few months ago.

This is probably not as important to 95% of Americans (more or less) than to the other 5%, if the truth be told. Didn't read past the excerpt. Since this is a CNN article I can assume the rest of it is devoted in large part to discussion of how whatever they perceive as bad in this statistic, is Bush's fault. No free plan B pills or abortions for every slut in North America, the unfairness that women get pregnant and men don't, stuff like that.

And gosh. Old women - 60 year old women - are getting some too. My mom turned 80 last month. She was married three times and widowed three times. What may have happened before and between those marriages I haven't asked and she hasn't told. I have, however, been told more than I ever wanted to know about what has happened since the last one, so the fact that old ladies get it comes as no surprise to me.

Heck. Just around the corner from my place is a nursing home for dementia patients where one elderly gentleman resident shot a fellow resident to death in a dispute over a woman who was also a resident. It is nature.

LOL! Where do you find them. Perhaps its where I was hanging out.

Most of my friends are conservatives. Nevertheless, when it came to sex it was not taboo at all.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this, but I found out that the study was by the Guttmacher Institute a division of Planned Murderhood, and therefore not at all credible.
