McCain's Letter (McCain aligns with Global Enviro activists)
The Washington Times ^ | December 26, 2006 | Greg Pierce

Sen. John McCain has signed a letter for the Environmental Defense Action Fund, in which the Arizona Republican emphasizes the group's support for his bill that aims to place "the first-ever national cap on global warming pollution."

Mr. McCain, in his letter, mentions no specific type of "pollution," although carbon dioxide has been the main target of anti-global-warming lobbyists. Carbon dioxide is produced in large part by human breathing and cattle flatulence.

The Environmental Defense Action Fund sent out the mailing, including Mr. McCain's letter, in which it asked for contributions and for recipients to sign and mail a prewritten "petition" asking their home-state senators to support Mr. McCain's bill.

"To mobilize forward-thinking citizens like you, I've again teamed up with Environmental Defense Global Warming Action Network because of their long track record of producing results," Mr. McCain said.

Wack-job positions like this assure McCain won't survive a primary.

See its not the issue because ..Hell he supports and denies support for everything...Its about Donations and HIS legislation.

He could care less what the situation is or the outcome as long as it looks like he succeeded.

One angry, dangerous, deluded s.o.b.

A socialist psychopath that craves power vs. A Marxist psychopath that craves power = mccain vs. hillary

We're toast either way that election works out.

RINO McPain will never get to the Presidency on MY vote.....I'll be sitting that one out. It would be the only time in 27 years that I missed a vote.

Remember, there was a semi-serious effort to impeach him a few years ago.

From the same state as Goldwater?

"Every time I think I could relent and vote for McCain, he makes me re-think that posittion."

I agree with you. I really respect McCain for what he did and went through for America. He scares me though because of what he must have expirenced in the Hanoi Hilton. I believe he is the real life version of the Manchurian Canidate. I don't believe he is always himself. I will always respect him because we are Brothers though I never expirenced what he did. I would take him long before Hitlery.

"McCain aligns with Global Enviro activists"

Not really. They are probably a front group for the carbon trading rackets.

McCain is selling himself out (not hard to do) for their money and that of the wage depression lobbies.

Maybe McCain is taking a page from the Rats book and deciding to lie to the special interest groups to get elected.

I believe you are right. But if that is the case, are our only two options Giuliani and Romney? I can't see those two flying either.

I think I'm throwing in for Duncan Hunter, he may be the Mother of all darkhorse candidates.

Isn't that the truth!!! This guy represents everything that is bad about politics; especially conservative politics.

I know a lot of you will consider me crazy for saying this, but I truly believe the long time McCain spent in the POW camp had permanent negative effects.
