I hope Cheney doesn't crack during this. He sounds, understandably so, like he's having a hard time. This man, our VP, is a national treasure, and who knows whether we'll see one like him again anytime soon.
I heard his voice deepen. He lives this, he feels every word ... this was his nearly life long friend.
