Authorizing an appropriate mission would have shown something, slapping some crap together shows nothing.
Carter has no spine and if you cannot understand this then there is nothing I can do to help you.
Especially if you can't to do some research and educate yourself.

All those named in Sgt.Pendry's rant want us to
follow rules which will guarantee our ultimate
defeat at the hands of these savages.
One of the best threads I've read all year.
Bumperino! This is GRRRRRRREAT.
JD Pendry exposes the rot that dwells within our land.
I Humbly but Proudly Salute Him.
Thanks for the ping, smooth. Clear and forceful piece.
Excellent piece, Dick and thanks for the ping, Smooth.
In as much as he failed to take swift and effective action agains the Iranian Islamonazies in '79, he does bear responsibility for the situation we now find ourselves in. Working for the terrorist Arafat and his Fatah killers didn't help matters any either.
I think it is more than unfair to say Carter is responsible for 9/11; I mean, that's beyond nasty. That's more like slander and defamation of character. Still, yes, he did the deeds that have given us the world that we have today. And it was unintentional. It has to do with one's worldview. If you don't understand how the world really works, then it is often difficult to solve the world's problems.
I doubt the actual plan was Carter's. I'm guessing the military came up with it.

Please! Former Pres Carter micromanaged the Whitehouse tennis court schedule! His leadership style does not allow decisions at lower levels.
His military plan failed miserably!
Well said ping
And you posted that because you thought someone was arguing that it succeeded?

No; I posted it because in post # 40 you stated
"The military rescue mission was the correct thing to do. You don't agree? I doubt the actual plan was Carter's. I'm guessing the military came up with it."
I disagree with you. The plan was Carter's. I simply added that Carter's plan failed miserably. I was hoping for an award for stating the obvious. ;)
So this is the best thread you've read today? ;^)
Any time! Any where!

Actually, it is the best thread I've read today. It's a good 'en.
I am working today, so just quickly scanning the threads. Is there any better ones? I am now officially too tired to work anymore and calling it quits. Probably shouldn't be typing on FR, since my work involves lots of typing and my fingers and eyes are shut down.
Sorry to disagree but Jimmah is one of the more prominent & successful soldiers of the jihad.
Every time he opens his face he underscores it with another disgusting verse.
This is the best thread I have ever read on Free Republic....I cannot express how correct you are in everything you say...Bravo, someone finally said what needed to be said, and now lets all copy this and send it to every official in our Government, and every person we know on the internet and also in snail mail....Thank you.
Every time he opens his face he underscores it with another disgusting verse.
Actually, I was only referring to while Jimmy Carter was president.
