("SAVED BY GRACE AND GRACE ALONE")
To: mkjessup
Joining your FReeper family in prayer, that the earthly days of your beloved Dad, whether many or few, will be blessed in ways unimaginable, and that joyfully he will enter into Eternal Life, and that with confident sorrow, you and your Mom, and all those who love him, will abide in faith that parting is but momentary, but joyful reunion awaits.
"But I know whom I have believed,
And am persuaded
That He is able,
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day."

Good Morning Everyone!
Coming up on 8:30 EDT, and Dad had a fairly restful night, and my Uncle (my Dad's brother) and my Aunt have arrived from out of state to spend some time with Dad, and to help out as possible, my Dad and Uncle are extremely close (as brothers should be) and I'm hopeful that a surprise visit will lift my Dad's spirits. I may be on and offline today so if I don't answer posts and emails right away, please know that I'll be getting back to messages and this thread as I can and I appreciate you all so much, I hope you know that.
My Mom is not what we would call computer savvy, she is somewhat familiar but is 'non-Internet' connected, however I told her this morning that there were many, many wonderful people (meaning you my FRiends!) who were praying for Dad, for her, and for our family and she was very moved and asked me to thank you all and to say that she loves and appreciates each and every one of you, as do I.
As time permits, and as events unfold, I might share a few stories about my Dad and Mom with you all, if there is interest - I could tell you quite a few tales, all of them true.
I thank you all again, and will keep you posted about how everything is going.
God Bless!
Best,
MKJ (Mark)

MK..... your prayer request speaks volumes... for the man who raised you to know love beyond your own desires...unselfish love. Our prayers too will be that His will be done. We pray for comfort for your dad, give thanks to him and all like him who served this nation so proudly, and ask for strength and comfort for your mom and you in the days and weeks ahead.
Hugs and prayers from Texas....
