Yep. The drive from Houston or Texarkana to El Paso can flat wear you out, but makes for some great scenery.

I am a huge Bobby Knight fan (raised a Hoosier). When I moved to Texas, I thought I would try and go to Texas Tech and check out Bobby Knight in person. I see that it is about eight hours from here. I'd have to make a three day weekend out of it. Two days just driving.
