JAILS are spending thousands on colour-coded kitchen tools for Muslims, it was revealed last night.
They are getting special red handled equipment to prepare Halal meals.
The move comes after an MPs’ committee recommended more should be done to meet the needs of Muslim prisoners.
So far 900 kits — costing £500 to £800 — have gone to jails across the UK.
The Koran prohibits eating pig meat, which is considered unclean. So the serving spoons, ice cream scoops and ladles are kept in special locked chests to prevent contamination by those used for other inmates.
A Muslim in Wakefield jail, Yorks, said: “We’ve all eaten in restaurants where no one cares how food is prepared. None except the strictest Muslims bother to check whether different equipment is used — it’s a waste of money.”
A Prison Service spokesperson said: “A comprehensive policy is in place for all aspects of Halal products including storage, cooking and service.”
Next they will demand that all the guards that see them or touch them must be Muslims...
"It is here in federal jails. I just called a a prison guard I know and he said the Jewish can get kosher meals ....The Muslims don't have to eat pork etc. We don't make people go against their religious practices. He was really busy so I didn't get to ask if they get special knives or cooking utensils. But I wouldn't doubt it. They get their prayer times and all that though."
The fact that in many jails Jews can get kosher meals wasn't my point. It's the special cooking utensils locked away in special cabinets that rediculous. This is just another case of muslims using their "religion" to make fools of us. And each time they win one of these little victories, they are embolden to try something more outrageous. We've got to stop playing by THEIR rules, which they change to suit their advantage.
I would just set aside the rat poison.
Well, I won't worry too much about this. All this will do is give a whole new meaning to "Halal", British-style - one that the Muslims hadn't intended.
The British working class, like the British army has a fairly amusing history of complying with bureaucratic decrees from on-high, while still getting their point across.
The muslim prisoners will soon be clamoring for the non "halal" cutlery, as they will find out that the halal cutlery, pots, pans don't quite yield that wholesome down-home flavor that they are looking for.
Here's a suggestion. As I understand it, muslim diets and Jewish diets are similar so let muslims eat Kosher meals off Kosher plates cooked with Kosher cookware. This thing is so like our guards at Guantanamo catering to the private jokes of muslim prisoners by putting on gloves before touching their korans. They're laughing at us.

In one of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century, Muslims and Islam as a whole, AFTER the worst attack in American History are demanding more and more special privleges and rights every day. Yes, they're not all terrorists but it seems we are creating a seperate, special America for them.
Muslims are one of the largest growing segments of the population, you now have halal McDonalds, (I'm not kidding) Muslims demand and GET everything they ask for in this country, they are given higher regard and more concessions than Christians or Jews. So much for our Judeo-Christian country.

Like I've said before, there is a "matrix" in this country, the media matrix of unreality and totally backward thought that a lot of people live in and the confusing reality that the rest of us share that is denied to exist.

Lmao....Yes the Muslims are laughing at us. As I understand it at Guantanamo they are eating better then they ever have before, are in better health and have use of a gym. Some are even gaining weight....Yup they're laughing at us .

OK. A few possibilities. I, for whatever reason (go ahead DU lurkers and brand me racist), would imagine that there are a heck of a lot fewer Jews in prison in the UK than Muslims. It's not that they have some evil world controlling cabal that keeps them out of prison. It's just that from what I can see on the telly and in real life, Muslims are some irrational mother****ers. And from what I have seen of Jews in my life, they are the opposite. We are talking cultural value choices here- not genetic superiority. Rational choices rarely lead one to jail.
Plus, lately ;-), I imagine a lot of Muslims have found their way to jail in the UK for standing on the street corner outside the mosque and saying 'Death to the infidels'.
Thus a big upswing in Muslim populations in UK jails has brought new problems- like Muslim eating requirements.
A weird question just occurred to me. I wonder if the Nazis gave any thought to kosher/non-kosher? Not sure what difference it would make.
