Hillary Clinton, 10; Falling Gas Prices, 0

Gasoline costs nearly 20 cents less than it did the same time last year, but the good news didn’t merit even a passing mention on the night before President Bush’s State of the Union address. By contrast the networks spent more than 10 minutes combined interviewing 2008 presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.).

“The price of gasoline fell by 6 cents last week to an average of about $2.16 a gallon nationwide – a 14-cent decline over three weeks,” the Associated Press reported January 22. AAA’s Fuelgaugereport.com, which displays data from the Oil Price Information Service, shows similar data.

“Retail gasoline prices have fallen 17 cents from this time last year,” and the price of crude oil has also been on a downward track, “down 86 cents at $51.13 a barrel Monday on the New York Mercantile Exchange,” the AP reported.

While the networks had no time for that good news, each network gave the junior senator considerable air time on its January 22 broadcast.

ABC anchor Charles Gibson gave the former first lady the most face time with 5 minutes and 9 seconds in a satellite interview on “World News.” NBC’s Brian Williams and CBS’s Katie Couric gave Clinton about the same time as a full-length news report. Clinton’s taped sit-down with Couric lasted 2 minutes and 40 seconds, while Williams’ taped in-studio chat was 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

Not to mention the fact that federal, state and local gov'ts make far more off a gallon of gas than do the oil companies.

So who's screwing the consumer?

Anyone thought about just one long Hilary thread? We sure are giving her a lot of attention. Just about every time I check the forum, there she is again and it is just barely 2007:'(

Ironically, I hope the all the dinosaur networks become "All Hillary! All The Time" so when they've invested all this money & energy & time into pre-electing her as the Anointed One and she still loses, the angst & suicide rate of Liberals will be a wonder to behold.

See?
Democrats take Congress back and BAM! gas prices go down!

Hillary announces? Gas prices go down 10 cents!

Why, if we have Democrats in control of both Houses of Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court, maybe gas will be free!

Yeah! That's what I'm talkin' bout.
"Free Gas! Vote for Hillary!"

And speaking of face time...

Every time I see her on television, I keep thinking I'm going blind. They MSM is shooting her with so many filters on their lenses that she looks like a big fuzzy blur. Someone should point out that there is no way she should be allowed to run for President because if she wins, the country just doesn't have that many filters to make it through four years.

And for someone claiming to be straight forward and honest with the American people, isn't this a bit disingenuous?

...TOO MUCH ATTENTION

I hope they saturate the airwaves with this shrew...only then will the voting public be able to see for themselves what a sociopathic megalomaniac she truly is.

Face it folks...good news will rarely be told on the MSM...and we are going into 'All Hillary, all the time' mode. It's gonna be a long two years.

All this proves is that gas can be up and down at the same time.

"suicide rate of Liberals will be a wonder to behold"

Angst and suicide rate aside, we STILL hear the stories constantly of the Lib's on how they was robbed in 2000, and in 2008, etc., etc., and voter dis-enfranchisement, and even in Floriduh, aren't they STILL re-counting a 2006 Congressional race vote that they lost?????

I can't imagine the whining and accusations of cheating if the Hildabeast would LOSE in 2008
