President Bush's SOTU speech tonight was mostly window dressing with a surprisingly understated delivery.
Except for one thing.
He drew a line in the sand, called the dems out regarding their commitment to winning the WOT, clearly defined our tasks (again) and made it VERY clear he intends to keep his commitments. He also made clear that he expects the Iraqis to keep theirs. And even better, he made it clear that those who voted for the war have a MORAL obligation to follow through on that vote to victory. The fact the Democrats could not even support that concept will not be lost on the American people.
The President is not playing politics on this. He is dead serious. I may be in a complete minority...but it was EXACTLY what I wanted to hear.

I agree with you, but I don't think some of Bush's finer points will be lost on the American people. At least not the ones who actually bother to vote.
