We are not there yet, we have a low of 12 tonight and with an expected low of 2 on Sunday and below 0 on Monday I am not feeling this global warming thing.

Strange - in the "scientific" view of the Earth's history, there have been FAR more dramatic and rapid climate changes - both warmer and colder. Most of these supposedly happened before Man even existed....

I guess then it was the dinosaur's fault. Then the cave men. And now humans...

Sorry - I just don't buy human-caused climate change. If we are indeed in a period of global warming, it isn't man-created. I won't deny that humans have mucked some things pretty dramatically - but the overall earth's climate... no.

Now - a global thermonuclear war - yes, that could have some dramatic impact on the environment...

"I would like to politely ask that the IPCC stop producing CO2."

IPCC is just another political arm of the UN whose members are responsible for emitting CO-2 from one end and Methane from the other while attempting to blame it on the USA.

There are two sorts of scientists who are involved with them; those who knowingly participate in their scams, and the credulous useful idiots who actually think they care about the "environment". bttt

If there is a heatwave, it will rain more. It will be difficult to have a drought when it rains more, f'rinstance the 13 category three or worse hurricanes that struck the US in 2006. Hence the warnings about extreme weather.

Also, if there is global warming, the glaciers will all melt and the gulf stream will shut down, thus bringing about another ice age.

And if the earth is subjected to more heat and rain over a large area, more food will grow and more plants will convert more atmospheric carbon dioxide into free oxygen.

Ye Gads!!! Wait a minute!!! I just realized Global Warming is a crock!!! That Al Gore is such a kidder . . .
