Chris Matthews Drops F-Bomb on 'Imus in the Morning' (Chrissy hates ranch owners alert)
Foxnews/NY Post ^ | 2/8/07 | Don Kaplan

MSNBC's Chris Matthews accidentally dropped the F-bomb Wednesday during an appearance on "Imus in the Morning."

The morning radio show is simulcast on MSNBC, and while Matthews' swear word was bleeped on the radio, it made it onto MSNBC while host Don Imus and Matthews were talking about Rudolph Giuliani as a potential president.

"We love good mayors because we love our cities and Giuliani's the city guy," Matthews said. "I'm so sick of Southern guys with ranches running this country. I want a guy to run for president who doesn have a [bleeping] -- I'm sorry -- a ranch. Wouldn't that be good, a guy who wasn't on the ranch during Katrina, he [Giuliani] was on the street corner answering questions [during 9/11]."

"Well all the Giulianni fans can rejoice... Chris Mathews likes their guy... hooraayyyyyy.. yea... "

Yep, I saw that segment too, and Chrissy definitely loves Rudy, even thought he said that Rudy was a little fascist.

Chrissy is referring to the crime crackdown that Rudy imposed on NYC, not the gun grabbing that Rudy supports however.

You know if the MSM and in particular Chrissy Matthews loves the guy (Rudy), he can't be good for the GOP and America in general.

Okay so even Reagan the Maximus had a stripe or two against him... How does dragging down such a great and incredible american leader help your candidate?

He's not MY candidate. I support 3 candidates.

And my post is to show that the mythology surround Reagan and gun control is just a little slanted. People seem to think he never pushed any kind of gun control and, of course, that's simply not true.

So much for an unbiased media. The republican party should boycott the show.

Boycott the chrissy show? hahahaha, have you seen his ratings? Neither has he. His latest rating was .0013. With a nation of 300,000,000 chrissy gets about 400,000 viewers. Emeril on the cooking channel gets more people watching him showing how to boil water.

Who are the southern guys with the ranches "running the country?" W has a ranch in the south. Impeached former president clinton didn't even have a trailer home. Cheney is from Wyoming. Bush 41 "lived" in a condo in Texas but had a "compound" in Maine. Reagan lived in California.

Which southern ranchers could he possibly mean? And what does he mean by running the country?

One of my favorite questions to liberals during the clinton period was, "What is it that clinton does, every day, to run the country?"
And, "how do you get your instructions on what to do? - I have never received my instructions from clinton on how I am to behave on any particular day."

"As best that I recall, Bush was NOT at his "ranch". He was in a school in Florida with kids."

You'd think that with all the hollering that liberal retard did over it, he would have remembered. This just goes to show, liberals make it up as they go along.

A north eastern "ranch" is a compound.

How does Matthews feel about the white guys and their compounds? Kennedy, Kerry, John Edwards?????

I have to laugh at his SELECTIVE hypocrisy!

Remember ole Jimmeh? Jimmeh Carter? Well didn't ole Jimmeh have a peanut FARM in the SOUTH? Odd how Matthews would forget THAT since he was a FORMER speech writer for JIMMEH CARTER!!!!

This is the 2nd or 3rd time in the last month that Matthews has spewed profanity on-air. This guy needs to get a lot better of restraining himself and watching what he says before he embarasses himself again.
