Giuliani criticizes Gore for not going far enough on Global Warming (by not offering solutions)
Pajamas Media ^ | February 13, 2007 | Bill Bradley

Pajamas Media’s Bill Bradley has been following Rudy Giuliani on the hustings in California. (Bill will be similarly covering John McCain and Hillary Clinton on their trips to the Golden State in coming weeks).

Here, at a press conference in the Silicon Valley, Giuliani responds to a press question about Al Gore’s film An Inconvenient Truth and discusses the global warming issue in general.

Nothing like Rudy trying to run to the left of Al Gore on this issue.

Gore might want to limit greenhouse gases by dumping his personal jet.

I can't imagine rud-ee winning the RNC nomination with all of his liberal positions coming to light.

Where is our Reagan?

Only an evil conservative would suggest these conservative efforts should apply to liberals like Hanoi Jane or Hitlery or Rudi.

I disagree. He is pointing out that if you have a problem, leadership requires trying to solve the problem. algore's solution might be to put us back in the stone age.

That's the funniest thing I've read all week.

Leadership also involves standing up to liberal herd movements instead of joining the stampede. Solutions are meaningless when the problem is non-existent. Rudy just gave the liberals cannon fodder to pass restrictions on our economy. Thanks for the "leadership", Rudy. Leading us leftwards, that is.

There was another thread related to this won where the poster indicated that Giuliani said that HE believed that global warming was caused by human activity. He DID NOT say this. Watch the video. He said that the majority of scientists say that this is the case. But again, he did not say that this was his belief.

Giuliani also said that we should be dealing with the pollution problem anyway.

not going far enough on Global Warming (by not offering solutions)

The solution is to say we cannot control climate, although sometimes we can make it rain by cloud seeding, but sometimes that causes flooding.

HAAATE! HAATE!

Rudy talking point #14, I believe - call opponents haters.

So tell me - do YOU "believe" in global warming? Do you think embracing a liberal agenda meant to hamstring our economy is a conservative position to take? Do you think joining the global warming stampede shows leadership on the part of Giuliani?

Ronald Reagan was not in favor of pollution, was he? Neither is Rudy. I don't think I've ever met a candidate who ran on the pro-pollution platform. Rudy here is one-upping the dems by pointing out that there is no constructive information about conserving the environment in Gore's movie. The movie is all about political bashing.

Rudy Talking Point #19 - who do you believe - spin or actual quotes from Rudy? I saw the transcript. He believes in global warming. Deal with it.

Rudy just gave validation to the liberal agenda to hamstring our economy by embracing the religion of human-caused global warming.

Algore should propose a way to get rid of WATER VAPOR, since
it's the most effective greenhouse gas (let's label it a
POLLUTANT!!)

Well I watched the video and he didn't say this.
I believe what I see and hear over what I read.
