Among Democrats, Sen. Hillary Clinton leads in all four states, with Sen. Barack Obama second in Arizona, Alabama and Utah and John Edwards second in Oklahoma.
Among Republicans, Rudy Giuliani leads in Alabama and Oklahoma, Sen. John McCain leads in Arizona and Mitt Romney leads in Utah.

We vote 5 February as part of that Tuesday that other States are now moving to -- if Rudy is polling that well in the heart of Middle America, then he will be doing just fine in the Red States.
That battle will be almost as big in NY as Ali-Frazier I.
Two of the four states polled are basically home states for some of the candidates, making them irrelevant.
I suppose Oklahoma is as relevant as anyone, but the focus is always on South Carolina.
And unless something changes Alabama doesn't vote until May.
Can remember when he talked about it and now I understand completely what he meant. He was all about compromise for the better good of everyone to get part of what you want. But then some folks on here have rewritten history of President Reagan. He was a great negotiator IMHO. He knew how to get the most that he could get on any one issue.
(Hydro-spam)
Reagan was frustrated with some on the far right that wouldn't compromise and if they didn't get everything they would pick up their toys and go home.....as far as I'm concerned, the extreme on both sides are too intolerant and short sighted......
Romney leads in Utah???
Now THAT'S a surprise! < /sarcasm>
Yes! I often see that truck go rushing by. The firehouse that houses it is right by my office. It says "Spirit of Oklahoma"
At this point, I'm in Rudy's camp, and so is Mrs Carlos. I have reservations about a couple of things, such as abortion (I'm Catholic) and RKBA, (I'm retired USAF and a hard-core 2nd amendment supporter). I think Rudy will do well in "flyover country".
The other two? No way! Choosing between a proven leader (Rudy), and two who have not proven anything except they will say whatever it takes is easy! Unless a messiah stept up, I'm for Rudy!
stept = steps. My bad!

Would you say that you definitely plan to vote in the 2008 Republican presidential primary, that you might vote in the 2008 Republican presidential primary, or that you will probably not vote in the 2008 Republican presidential primary?
I am not so sure.
Project Merlin is "forecasting" that it could be Edwards vs. Romney (with Gingrich also looking possible.
All I know is that no-one is paying much attention at this point, except us serious observers.
That's true, Anything can happen between now and election day. Nothing is certain.
