Accused Terrorist Is Big GOP Donor

February 19, 2007 1:51 PM

Justin Rood Reports:

Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari gave $15,250 to the NRCC since 2002, according to FEC records published on the Web site opensecrets.org.

On Friday, Alishtari pled not guilty to funding terrorism and other crimes, including financial fraud.

The NRCC is the main political group dedicated to helping the Republican party win seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. Reached Monday morning for comment, an NRCC spokeswoman declined to discuss the matter on the record.

The indictment against Alishtari unsealed in Manhattan federal court Friday charges him with providing material support to terrorists by transferring $152,000 between banks to allegedly be used to purchase night-vision goggles and other equipment needed for a terrorist training camp.

ABC news.........

The inference is that the NRCC and the GOP are terrorist organizations. Most people woud think that is ridiculous, but in the liberal mind, it makes perfect sense.

I see... So for ABC, the GOP are for terrorists.

Meanwhile, we have a propagandist media and Dem party actively trying to undermine American victory, defund our military operations, impeach our president... These people disgust me.

MSM will ramp this up to create the "both sided did it" defense for when direct connects are made between some Democrats and Saddam's rein of terror.

Just out of curiosity, how much money did terrorist sympathizers contribute to Democrat congressional candidates?

There will be instances of this where terrorists try to pull the RNC into controversy. Anyone with a brain larger than a pea should realize the only threat to terrorism comes from republicans (RNC) and independents. There is no threat to terrorism from donks, the party of jackassess, so terrorists help their cause by donating to donks.

US politics is probably rife with 'outside' dollars -- the oil cartel under-the-table donations competing for privilege against the drug cartel under-the-table donations.

There is allot of influence to be peddled and allot of money-holders willing to buy it.

But, not to worry, McCain-Feingold fixed all that. [Yeh, right.]

Check the DNC donor list - especially Chucky Schumer's slush fund...

So a "BIG" GOP donor is 15k over 4 years...yet small donors to the demonrats are terrorists spending millions to get them into power...interesting double standards.

Probably. The only bright spot is that perhaps we will have to hear a little less about Anna Nicole.

That's assuming that the MSM will ever do such a report. I'm still waiting on the reports on the donors to the DNC throughout the years.

Go to fec.gov and look at all the donations to Cynthia McKinney's Congressional campaigns. Lots of arabic-named donors from outside the district.

Thankfully, DeKalb County finally got rid of her. Even more thankfully, I've been redistricted back into the GA 6th, Newts old District. Waking up one morning in Cynthia's GA 4th, after having been in Newt's 6th, was one of worst moments in my political history.

OpenSecrets' Donor Lookup comprises contribution data available electronically from the Federal Election Commission on Monday, January 22, 2007. Because campaigns and other political committees typically disclose their contributions on a quarterly or monthly schedule, it can take several months for a contribution to be recorded in this database.

Accused Terrorist Is Big GOP Donor

Hey, why should the democrats get all of the terrorists' money?

The democrats should take it from them that have & give it to them that need.
