I'm personally thinking Jim Gilmore will be the first one out. But that could be wishful thinking.
So forgiving the whore and letting her live in peace and with respect, as opposed to killing her is a matter of degree to you.
Brilliant and gracious on your part. "Sac off"
I would his Supreme Court justices to the list as well.
That's for helping me out with the horse!
I think Guliani will win the nomination , so you get to vote for him or Hitlery or some third party wacko or you can take the day off. ..In any event take your time deciding. Its many months before the election.
You might find a few Fudd supporters on the hunting forums, but Rudy has about nil support on any of the large gun message boards. The word is long since out... Gunsnet.net AR-15.com Gunboards.com Glocktalk.com HKPro.com try any of them, post a pro-Rudy thread and watch the pile on.
If the GOP runs Rudy, watch them loose 5 to 10 million Second Amendment voters. We voted the Dems out in 94 and helped to keep Gore and Kerry out.
The Second crowd was already disappointed in the GOP for not rewarding their support by doing away with some of the more obnoxious gun laws. Now nominate an anti-gunner...
Trivial.
Unlike some Ostriches on this forum, I WILL support whoever the GOP nominee is against "Stalin in a pantsuit" in November.
And while I am leaning towards Rudy because I think he can win, I'm keeping my mind open.
But paeans of Rudy character assassination that are flooding FR and that consistently ignore or downplay THE key issue of our day - National Security - on which issue Rudy has a hands-down advantage, aren't gonna sway my mind. If anything, the more over-the-top some of y'all are, the more I'm leaning towards supporting him in the primaries (and living in CA, this is my one chance to make my vote count - given recent CA presidential trends).
So you all go on and forget RWR's 11th Commandment, act holier-than-though, and thump your Bibles til you're blue in the face.
You're not gonna change anyone's minds that way.
And in the end, when the votes are cast, all this screeching will amount to is "sound and fury, signifying nothing."
Why would you wish Jim Gilmore out of the race?
Mexico
Game this. What happens if the reps run Rino Rudy and the rats run Richardson. He is at least tolerated by the NRA.
Excellent post...well thought-out.
I've been saying for a while that Giuliani will not fly as the nominee, and that we need to find a consensus candidate who can appeal to the various wings of the party.
See my reply to another who asked more politely -- post #208.
Parts of TX do feel like that sometimes.
You should see our Governor if you want someone beyond pathetic.........
It's a good thing she can't run for Pres.
The major issues of the moment are to defeat the dems and win big with a successful candidate who will vigorously prosecute the WOT.
I have volunteered for Duncan Hunter's campaign because I like his ideology. But, I haven't heard word one from anyone associated with his campaign.
I also expressed interest to Giuliani's campaign and I have been contacted by them.
While his ideology is much more acceptable to me, Hunter is doing a lousy job---for whatever reason, it's incumbent upon him to eliminate his shortcomings---in running his campaign. He is polling single digits at best, with numbers which are consistently below the typical margin of error. He is not doing those things he needs to do, like getting newsworthy events and raising the gobs of cash (around 100 million dollars) necessary to conduct a proper campaign. Some say, "just wait and Hunter will..." Why wait? The guy is getting off to a terrible start and shows no indication he will be able to catch up with the pack.
So, I've decided not to carry Hunter's water. He will have to do the hard work himself, and if he finally gets competitive, I'll be voting for him in the primary.
However, since the goal is not to lose to the dems, I'll vote in general for the GOP nominee, and I suspect that will be Rudy Giuliani.
Nonsense. No Rudy supporter is suggesting anyone leave the Republican Party. On the contrary, most believe that we should have a fair primary season and then unite behind the winner to beat the 'rats.
It is those attacking Rudy who are threatening or promising not to vote for him & calling those who support him RINOs, traitors, sell outs, phony conservatives, etc. That is of course your right, but don't expect to get any sympathy whatsoever for the false charge that the anti-Rudy crowd are being "forced out of the Party". If those who oppose Rudy have the numbers to nominate another candidate, then Rudy will deserve to lose. If not, then whining about losing a fair fight and running to a third party or staying home because Hunter or whoever got outvoted will make those who whine look like sore losermen.
