Very good post! I already don't like Gulianni. As you said better than me, a New York Republican is something the red states don't recognize.
I didn't ask to be on this ping list, but I am asking to be removed from it. Thank you.
All excellent points. The place to beat Guiliani is in the primaries. I'd prefer Newt, and I'd probably vote for a Guiliani-Newt ticket (but I'd prefer a Newt-Guiliani ticket).
If it came down to "Guiliani-Romney" vs Hillary, I'd probably go third party.
Giuliani?
LIMBO PARTY - GOP - How low can the neo-cons drive you go and still be conservative?
I am saying I will not play the fear game anymore. Both Rino Rudy and Hitlary are so alike in their views that if both are nominated I will go third party because they will both govern the same. If either win conservatives lose.
Depends upon whose list is being used. If we used your list, several long-standing conservative issues such as abortion would not be present.
I think need to take a deep breathe with your anti-Rudy screeds. Honestly, will you support Hillary rather than him if he wins the nomination?
This attitude is a good part of the reason why the anti-Rudy contingent finds themselves on the losing side this time and can't understand why. You clearly haven't got the slightest idea what the Statue of Liberty is all about.
Looks like we have yet another Rudy booster talking point - inconvenient facts can be written off as the work of Newsday, even when they are not.
You seem to have a serious hangup about Newsday. Did you get fired from there or something?

Remember, Rudy is the candidate the MSM wants you to support. The same MSM that bashed the WoT, and the President day in and day out.
When will you people wake up?
It is about welcoming AND assimilation into the melting pot. Not having your door kicked down and having large populations that are not even trying to assimilate.
I have seen lots of fights and disagreements on FR the last 7 years. I have never noticed such a divide before this last year though. If this is an indication of what is going on with all conservatives, the GPO is in big trouble IMO.
Stock Rudy booster talking point - make this about Hillary instead of the GOP nomination process.
Mark Levin made this exact point on his program yesterday. He came out as a conservative. While he has mostly exposed McCain, he also had some for Rudy as well.
Pinging the Great One to the thread.
As for the rant... Maybe the redneck types get all oogie about the cross dressing photos, but I see them for what they are... funny skits and appearances... Even though Giuliani doesn't have acres of cedar to clear to prove his manhood, I don't see him as "effete" in any way... He's a city guy, if he tried to get on a horse or go grab a chainsaw he'd look as ridiculous as Dukakis on a tank, or Kerry with a shotgun.
He'll be fine and hold the respect of most Americans if he just remains true to who he is, without apology, without trying to remake himself into a 'manly man' to put the guys in wifebeaters at ease. That is, unless he could do it and be really really funny :~) I'm seeing some pretty good skit material for Saturday Night Live. ;~)
I am not a Rudy booster, nor a detractor.....just listening.
The biggest difference between Hitlary and Rino Rudy is he looks better in a dress. I will go third party before I vote for either. And I suspect I will not be alone.
