An airline employee led former Vice President Al Gore and two associates around airport security lines before police spotted the breach and required them to be screened, an airport spokeswoman said Thursday.

The American Airlines employee led the three down to the lower baggage level Wednesday and swiped each of them through a secure turnstile with her security badge, Nashville International Airport spokeswoman Lynne Lowrance said. She declined to identify the employee.

"Everyone goes through security," she said of the employee's action. "It showed bad judgment. They were trying to be helpful, maybe too helpful."

The employee will be required to take an airport security training course again,

That's Algore for ya.
One law for Algore for the masses, and another law for Algore. What an arrogant bore. This is his insane electricity use all over again.

The hipocracy never stops!...

It's the ultimate faith of the feckless rich, where a ticket to heaven can be bought with a cheque made out to Al Gore. No further sacrifice required.

I'm trying to find out what utility company supplies all that electricity to light Gore's mansion night and day.

That would be some nice stock to own!

Al Gore Inadvertently Breaches Airport Security

The airline employee took Gore down an elevator and then through a secure door. She ran her security card through the electronic lock a total of three times to let Gore and his two colleagues pass through the turnstile one at a time.

Interestingly, you can't do that at my office. The machine counts you in and out, and if you have scanned in, it won't let you scan in again, unless you scan out.

If you mess it up, you have to go to security to have it reset.

That she was able to run the card multiple times that fast hopefully triggered the alert.

I agree : it should be programed that the gate to be frozen after the second fast use.
