RUDY DRAGGED DOWN
The New York Post ^ | 3/3/2007 | IAN BISHOP

March 3, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Rudy Giuliani's liberal stance on abortion, guns and gays wasn't his biggest problem yesterday as he addressed a conference of conservative activists - it was his having dressed in drag.

A whisper campaign targeting the front-running GOP White House contender's cross-dressing stunts at gala political dinners in New York and on "Saturday Night Live" was the hot topic among right-leaning activists.

Are some of us saying Hillary would be a better President?

I AM saying four years of Hillary would be better than eight years of liberal Republican and another Democrat in office. Christie Todd Whitman, Arnold Schwartenkennedy and Michael Bloomberg are proof of that.

What's appauling here, though, is that "conservatives" refuse to support a conservative nominee in the Republican primary for President and can't unite to defeat a liberal like Giuliani.

Because 'those pictures' will allow Rudy to hit a self-deprecating HOME RUN in the Presidential debates

Yeah, let's see what those pictures of Rudy do for him when coupled with pictures from the gay rights march he participated in that NAMBLA was a part of.

No, we won't vote for Rudy because he is LIBERAL on a majority of issue.

LOL!!! I suggest you take up basic math.

Futher, with Duncan Hunter, Jim Gilmore and, possibly, Newt in the race, there is absolutely NO good reason for any true conservative not to get behind a conservative candidate.

Duncan "Never Met a Protectionist Bill I didn't like," "I've been in Congress most of my adult life," "I got a C- from CATO in the 2000's" Hunter is a 'True Conservative'?

Jim "I exploded the deficit in Virginia so badly that I ushered in a Democratic era in Virginia in which they have won the last 2 Governor's elections and last Senate race," "I got fired from the RNC because I couldn't raise money," Gilmore is a 'true conservative'?

Please.

No way. Too much money to spend on WOT. Lil'kim isn't enough to support the US Defense budget.

"celebrated Saturnalia."

There is fun and there is immorality.

Saturn worship is pagan idolatry.

It takes no guts to do evil. It takes guts to stand against it. Rudy's antics in most of the catacombs of the *moral* arena show a lack of moral courage. Even if he participated only for 'fun' this tells a lot about his character.

Do you, Cicero, normally hang out with those who associate with and condone those who are obsessed with publicizing aberrant sexual behavior? Do you party with child molesters on your day off? Do you pay or use your celebrity to help their fund-raisers? I very much doubt it and certainly hope not. You support neither those particular 'troops' nor their 'mission' -- and as we see with the Democrats spurning our Military, the two are inseparable.

Some of us take seriously the admonition to 'avoid even the APPEARANCE of evil.'

As regards the 'virile' Romans you allude to in Rudy's defense, please read Paul's Epistle to the Romans, chapter 1.

To paraphrase Forrest Gump:

Life is like a tracer bullet--one can generally tell where it's going by the moral trajectory thus far.

So, you call yourself a conservative and believe the best conservatives can do is a man: 1) supports gun control laws 2) believes in man-made global warming 3) appointed liberal judges to the judiciary in NYC 4) supports hate crime legislation 5) Supports abortion and demand at taxpayer expense 6) Is rabidly pro-homosexual to the point of marching in gay pride parades with NAMBLA and 7) Dramatically increased spending during his last term as mayor.

It's no wonder conservatives can't make any progress when people like you are dumb and deluded enough to support that. You're liberal's best friend.

Guess what.

As per NAMBLA.

Stonewall IS NAMBLA.

And Rudy is a member of Stonewall.

I had to go to the store and buy more candles after last night and today.

I'm probably in violation of a fire code right about now.

I just pray and vote--I don't use candles, so nobody can blame ME for global warming!

Hey, wanna buy some 'candle carbon' credits?

The candles remind me of my Mamma Nome. She always lit candles when she prayed. So, I smell her when I pray.

ROFL!

Oh, look how far we've fallen. From Reagan's 11th Commandment to today's guilt by association.

I agree. There's a lot to criticize Rudy for, but this ain't among them.

I'm old enough to remember when a man dressing in women's clothes could be considered clowning around, like "Powderpuff football" and the the guys mocking the cheerleaders by stuffing their shirts with balloons. But, maybe I was naive when I thought it was funny, along with "Some like it hot".

Whatever other reservations we're entitled to about Rudy, this isn't really one of them for me.

Reagan's 11th commandment should only to conservatives, not liberal Republicans that would be harmful to the conservative cause.

But, this is a reservation because it directly ties into his support for the radical homosexual agenda.

Wonderful, now we have so called conservatives doing the New York Times dirty work for them

It's the drive-by media promoting this RINO and giving the appearance that conservative have to settle for him.

It's shameful that certain "conservatives" worship at the alter of the Republican party to the point they can't even fight for conservative nominee.
