Has anyone else noticed that Rudy's legs seem to be shaved?

Here's some more excerpt

...conservatives already uneasy with Giuliani's positions on social issues were latching on to his gags as a drag queen.

"Can you think of any president - even Clinton - or another candidate wearing a dress on several occasions? It's unpresidential. It's not a secret, but a lot of people don't know about it, and it's only going to get more attention," said Florida GOPer Gregg Shore.

"It lends credence to the belief that he's not conservative."

"It wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that his views on every conservative value weren't so far to the left. But it resonates here," said Georgia conservative Justin Lewis Wight.

Anti-Giuliani Republicans also circulated newspaper clips accusing America's Mayor of appointing left-leaning judges.

***Looks like someone's been reading Free Republic. I wonder who Justin Lewis Wight is?

Symbolism is no[t] an inconsequential matter in mass communications, or in the recruitment of new terrorists.

What better visual "proof" could they possibly have of the decadence of the West...than actual photos of a male President of the United States dressed as Dolly Parton.
***That's something I hadn't thought of. Thanks. It was also well written. Sometimes the concise term "unpresidential" just doesn't generate the right perspective.

What the MSM wants is turmoil and indecision in the Republican party. As a bonus, they get to poke the social conservatives. {Who they hate/fear? far more than blue blood Republicans}
***Yup. The MSM gets a two-fer. AND they sell newspapers. They know what business they're in.

and marched right along with the NAMBLA banner that was also proudly on display.
***Do you have a photolink to that? It would prove powerful.

Truly it would.

I found a reference to a resident of NYC talking about it here:

From an earlier discussion on a different thread

One more, though I am unable to tell if it is still available as I can only see the abstract myself anymore. Those who have a NYT sub (or Lexis Nexis) can access the full article:

Has the Mayor Made a Difference

Excerpt:

Comments by eight New Yorkers on where and how Rudolph Giuliani has made a difference in three years he has been mayor.

Mary Cummings, Queens resident: "...I EXPLAINED why I didn't vote for Mayor Giuliani in the last election. I look at the gay pride parade coming up the avenue and I see the gay activists and they are followed by a group from Nambla, the pedophiles. And in back of the pedophiles come, smiling brightly and waving their hands, the two aspirants to be my Mayor, Mr. Dinkins and Mr. Giuliani. I couldn't under those circumstances vote for anyone that would march in a parade with pedophiles."

Buchanan was on Scarborough before the 2006 election discussing this same issue about both Giuliani and Hillary (BUCHANAN: -- If they march with NAMBLA, they're going to have answer it!). Pelosi did so as well in San Fran. But it's only acceptable as a criticism when we mention those who actually acknowledge the "D" behind their names? Wrong.

They float these stories simply to divide the right, and I'm surprised at how many people fall for the gag.
***I think the media floats the stories because they sell newspapers, and they're so readily available. That's what business they're in. I'm surprised how many supposed social conservatives are falling for rudy's socially liberal stances.

The Russian Mafia is strong and active in NYC.

Rudy's support of amnesty for illegal aliens and recommending Kerik to President Bush demonstrates how weak he will be when it comes to national security.

We do need to make sure "conservative" is not re-defined.

After 8 years of Bill Clinton they had defined GW Bush as a far right winger. In my opinion he's just right of center on some issues and actually to the left of center on some.

After 8 years of Hillary, even Guliani will have been considered "too conservative" to win.

Interesting points. My contention is that rudy's candidacy splits the socon base, and your argument here assumes that to be the case.

Why not back a conservative like Duncan Hunter, and avoid the problems with Rudy's gun-grabbing, illegal-alien-defending, and threadbare moral values?
***Great post. The answer, from what I can see, appears to be... because they agree with Rudy on the issues.

People should wonder about their judgment if they think such behavior reflects on a politicians credibility.
***Your statement does not reflect a truth as much as VictoryGal's. It says, "we should" vs. "poiticians should".

Victory Gal's statement reflects a probable truth within the american electorate, and a certain truth among socons.

a certain truth among socons.

You have an extremely low opinion of the intelligence level of socons.

I will stand by Duncan Hunter regardless of what any pole you whip out. I will win or lose without compromising my morals.
You got that right, you will lose again. In the process you will probably get suspended again. LOL.

As long as nobody whips out any poles, I see no reason for anybody to be suspended. ;)

More important that he'll quash Al Queda in a minute.

Who's "Al Queda"?

If he's an illegal Mexican alien, then RINO-rudy won't do a DAMN thing about him breaking and entering into our country.

RINO-rudy'd rather "QUASH" our 2nd Amendment RIGHTS and the unborn in a new york city (Police-State) minute.

How is that? Somehow socons are stupid because they question the credibility of a politician who cross-dresses for charity, attends gay rights promotional parades (which may or may not have NAMBLA alongside), and otherwise shows threadbare morals?
